Herring Herald mens rubber-soled Chukka boots in cedar grain

Herald is a handmade masterpiece on a Goodyear-welted sole. This Chukka harks back to the riding boots used by polo players. They were made famous by Nathan Clark, of the shoe making family, when he brought the design back from his wartime service in the desert, hence you can hear this style also called a desert boot. Probably the most famous design is the Church Ryder, in its many variations, and that is closest to what we have here.
